what is your story?

where is this web of life taking you?

I relish in the alchemic process of creating something sophisticated from that which is simple. A self-taught macrame artist, my roots began on the magical continent of South America, where I spent four years traversing ten countries. Intrigued by the impressive macrame works sold by street artisans, I was determined to learn this art-form in which simple knots provide the alchemy of transformation--from simplicity comes intricate, stunning design and beauty. I soon became one of the street artisans (los locos) I so admired and used my jewelry as the financial fuel to continue traveling for four years.

After nearly 18 years as a designer, creatrix and free-spirit I continue to draw inspiration from my travels, the natural world, and most importantly from this web of life and the stories we share. In recent years, I have discovered a love for working with raw brass and copper--cutting, filing, hammering and creating a new alchemy between metal and macrame.

My creative process leads me in many directions—from brilliant brass to funky patinas, from simple gemstone wraps to stunning one-of-a-kind macrame intricacy, from classic plant-hangers to simple reminders on a tote or tee—I truly believe you can find something that connects to YOUR life, style and story.

When you support my artistic vision, you become a part of my journey and I become part of yours. My deepest thanks and gratitude to you.

When you wear my work, you become a part of my journey and I become a part of yours.
