what is your story?

where is this web of life taking you?

I relish in the alchemic process of creating complex jewelry from the humble beginnings of thread. When you wear my work, you become a part of my journey and I become part of yours. A self-taught macrame artist, my roots began on the magical continent of South America, where I spent four years traversing ten countries.Intrigued by the impressive macrame works sold by street artisans, I was determined to learn this art-form in which simple knots provide the alchemy of transformation--from simplicity comes intricate, stunning design and beauty. I soon became one of the street artisans I so admired, and used my jewelry as the financial fuel to continue traveling for four years.

After 12 years as a designer, creatrix and free-spirit I continue to draw inspiration from my travels, the natural world, and most importantly from this web of life and its unfolding journey. In my most recent chapter, I have discovered a love for working with raw, base metal--cutting, filing, hammering and creating a new alchemy between metal and macrame.

Each piece from Anthropoloca is infused with a pinch of adventure and a dash of wanderlust from my world-wide travels. I create because I love the connection I make with you–the woman who honors me by incorporating my creations into her life’s adventure.

The woman who is unafraid to forge her own path. The woman who stands up for your beliefs and stands out in the crowd. The woman who moves to your own rhythm and isn’t afraid to dance when no one else is. The woman who isn’t afraid to venture out and find your own version of “loca” This connection between us allows me to continue seeking, exploring and observing the infinite paths to live by the mantra “time is creation, art, and beauty.” I relish in the alchemic process of creating jewelry with complex form from the humble beginnings of thread.

When you wear my work, you become a part of my journey and I become a part of yours.
